Frequently asked questions
Can I use the CalculateInterestPay logo in an article?
Yes, when you are referring to the site, for example in an article, a lesson or a list of resources. Use the files from the media kit without changing their colors, proportions or wording, and do not use the logo in a way that suggests we endorse a product, lender or service.
Can I quote results from your calculators in my article?
Yes. Please state the inputs you used and the date, link to the calculator page, and describe the figures as estimates. If you want us to double-check a figure before publication, email the partners and press address with the inputs and your deadline.
Has CalculateInterestPay been featured in the media?
Not yet. The site launched in October 2026, and we do not list press coverage we have not received. If you write about us, we would be glad to hear about it, but we will only mention coverage that actually exists.
Who can I interview about the site?
Questions are answered in writing by the CalculateInterestPay Editorial Team. We have no named spokespeople yet, and we are recruiting credentialed reviewers. Send your questions to the partners and press address, and we will reply within 2 business days. Please include your deadline so we can tell you right away if we cannot meet it.
Can I take screenshots of the calculators?
Yes, for editorial or educational use, such as showing readers how a calculation works. Please include the page link and a note that results are estimates. Avoid cropping out disclaimers in a way that changes the meaning. If you plan to use screenshots commercially, such as in advertising, email us first.
What is the correct way to write the website name?
CalculateInterestPay, as one word with a capital C, I and P. Use calculateinterestpay.com in lowercase when you mean the web address. Please do not shorten it to initials. In running text, you can also describe us as "a free consumer calculator website" on first mention. If you need the logo, use the files from the media kit rather than retyping the name in a different typeface.
Can teachers use the calculators in class?
Yes. The calculators and guides are free, need no account, and show worked examples that students can reproduce by hand. You are welcome to link to them from lesson plans or class pages. The glossary is a useful companion for new terms.
Do you provide data or statistics for stories?
We do not publish survey data or usage statistics, and we do not make "our data shows" claims. We can help you run or check a calculation, and our resources page points to official data from the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, the BLS and other agencies.
