Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated . Applies to calculateinterestpay.com. US law and en-US.
In plain English
- Some pages have clearly labelled Compare offers or Talk to a pro links to partner websites.
- We may earn a commission or referral fee if you use one of these links, at no extra cost to you.
- Partners never change our calculator math or editorial content.
- Partner offers are not live yet, and our /go/ pages say so until they are.
Our approach
CalculateInterestPay is free to use. To help keep it that way, some pages may include links to partners whose products or services relate to what you are calculating. This page explains how those links work so you can decide whether to use them. It follows the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and disclosures.
Current status
Partner offers are not live yet. Our /go/ pages say so, and no commission or referral fee is earned today. We will update this page before any partner offer goes live.
How partner links work
- Clear labels: partner links appear as clearly labelled “Compare offers” or “Talk to a pro” links, separate from calculator results and editorial content.
- Through a /go/ page: each partner link passes through a page on our site at
/go/<partner>/before taking you to the partner’s website, so you can see where you are going. - Marked as sponsored: partner links are marked as sponsored in the page code, which tells search engines they are paid relationships.
- Your choice: you never need to use a partner link to use any calculator or read any guide.
How we may earn money
If you use a partner link and then apply for a product, sign up for a service or contact a professional, the partner may pay us a commission or referral fee. This fee is paid by the partner. It does not increase the price, rate or fees you are offered, and it does not affect whether you are approved.
Editorial independence
Partners never change our calculator math or editorial content. Specifically:
- calculators work the same way whether or not a page has partner links;
- partners cannot review, edit or approve our guides before publication;
- partners cannot pay to change a result, ranking, rating or conclusion;
- whether a page has a partner link does not affect what we write about.
Types of partners we may work with
| Partner type | Example of what they offer |
|---|---|
| Mortgage lenders and marketplaces | Home loan and refinance quotes |
| Personal and auto loan lenders and marketplaces | Loan offers and rate comparisons |
| Credit card issuers | Balance transfer and other card offers |
| Banks and savings providers | Savings accounts, CDs and money market accounts |
| Debt and credit services | Debt consolidation and credit counseling services |
| Financial and tax professionals | Consultations with advisers, planners or tax preparers |
We will name specific partners or update these types here as relationships are set up.
Your relationship with partners
When you leave our site through a partner link, the partner’s own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not pass your calculator inputs or contact details to partners through these links. Any product you choose is an agreement between you and that partner, so read their disclosures carefully and compare more than one offer.

We may. If you use a labelled partner link and then apply, sign up or speak with a partner, we may earn a commission or referral fee. Partner offers are not live yet.
Does a partner link cost me more?
No. Any commission or referral fee is paid by the partner and does not add to the price, rate or fees you are offered.
Can partners change calculator results or reviews?
No. Partners never change our calculator math or editorial content, and they cannot pay to change how a calculator works or what a guide says.
How can I tell which links are partner links?
They are labelled Compare offers or Talk to a pro, pass through a /go/ page on our site and are marked as sponsored in the page code.
What kinds of companies are your partners?
